A LOCATION FOR PARTIES WHERE THE ANCIENT BECOMES CONTEMPORARY
The quarry of Isolona, abandoned for a long time, didn’t do justice to its history.
From 1870 until 1960, the slate was extracted in quantity, and higher quality than the one removed in the most coastal areas and, at the site, a lab was also present for cutting slate blocks. But the use of this stone goes back to remote times, maybe to the VIII century b.c.
We had two objectives: the first was to recover the abandoned old lab and convert it into an innovative and multivalent place for parties, with a classy restaurant and an entire ample and modular space.
The second aim was to restructure the slate quarry to make it visitable and safe.
Well, we think we have succeeded and even exceeded our expectations.
Our tremendous and ambitious challenge was transforming and revaluing the whole place, preserving its original historical characteristics and, at the same time, making the environments more comfortable and modern.
Work lasted about two years, and since 13 October 2018, the old “Baraccun” of Isolona(Orero) has become our “Cava Arde'” – an exclusive, unique place that hosts events in grand style, leisure activities, exhibitions and business meetings.

An evening of elegance. The lounge, the tables decorations for New Year’s Night must shine and illuminate the scene, giving the guests warmth and harmony.
The reception will be so perfect that everyone will feel comfortable like they were at home. The wooden dancing floor will be the evening’s actual protagonist, hosting the dancers in their dances.
SWEET DETAILS FOR A SPECIAL DAY
Our mission is to make a party unforgettable and leave the guests with an open mouth. When you rent a location, you have in mind a special day to share with those you love in a surprising place.
The watchwords are happiness, light and detail. The tables are covered by a white tablecloth such as napkins. The chairs are transparent; the only colour that rises across the room is that of the flowers on the tables: an important detail that does not escape attentive eyes.
“FIRE RED” EVEN IN OPEN SPACES
Like the warm fire flames that burn in the inner hall’s fireplace, we also wanted ” fire red” in the external places. In contrast to the green nature of the surrounding area, Cava Arde creates beautiful harmony between green tranquillity and red passion.
